Because of the need to slope the tracks continuously downhill, this model has several connections which are not rigid or straight in the normal way. You may need to make some adjustments to the final model if it doesn't keep the balls moving on the track on the first try. Also note that the small red ball has a flat spot on it that causes it to get hung up occasionally, so that is an additional challenge to making it as consistent as possible. |
The autonomous program has two code stacks that control
the two lifts independently, triggered by the two sensors. The distance
sensor is notoriously finicky, so make sure that nothing is in its field
of "view" where the model is set up to run.
