This alternate remote control program uses individual "raw" Motor blocks instead of Movement blocks. This allows for a little more power and speed vs. the Movement Steering version, and you can also do spin turns using only the steering slider. However, the robot direction doesn't stay as straight:

This autonomous program makes the robot keep driving across the room, turning around whenever it sees an obstacle with the distance sensor.
