This little robot adds a
touch-sensitive front bumper to the
5-Minute Bot. It will
roam around your room and turn whenever it bumps into something.
Normally a
touch-sensitive bumper would be made with a
touch/pressure sensor, but since the standard Inventor
kit doesn't include one, this design uses a simple trick
to make one out of the color sensor.
The color sensor behind
the bumper sees the
teal-colored beams when the bumper is pushed in.
