| Castor Bot |

| This robot uses two-motor drive and a pivoting castor
wheel to allow it to turn easily on either carpet or hard floors. Building
variations are shown to accommodate either the standard AA batteries, or
the NXT Lithium
Rechargeable Battery Pack. Castor Bot can be used as a simple turning vehicle or as a base for other projects. It also serves as a good robot to help learn how to use the Move programming block, because it can make all kinds of turns easily. Two sample programs are included that demonstrate different kinds of turns using the Move block. |
